This tour takes you to the Bhutan, where you will enjoy beautiful views of Himalayas from flight and explore cities of Paro and Thimphu. Starting from Kathmandu (or Delhi,Bagdogra, Dhaka,Kolkata, or Singapore), we will fly to Paro, Bhutan’s only international airport, located in a town full of history and cultural sites. Thimphu, the capital, mixes with tradition and modern life of Bhutan, where we visit to Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong. In Paro, you will see the famous Taktsang Moastery, also called Tiger’s Nest Monastery, on the cliff, offering magnificent views of the Paro valley and beautiful mountains.

Upon arrival in Paro, clear customs formalities, and your representative from the agency will greet you on arrival and drive you to the capital city, Thimphu (Altitude: 2320m/ 7656ft above sea level.) (1 hour 30 minutes’ drive).

On the way to Thimphu visit, Tamchhog Lhakhang ,Memorial Chorten, Big Buddha Statue and Tashichho Dzong. Evening explore Thimphu’s street where you can visit local handicraft markets or savor authentic Bhutanese cuisine at a local restaurant.

After breakfast drive back to Paro. Hike to Tatksang Monastery, Ringpung Dzong, National Museum of Bhutan and Farm House

Morning hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest): This 6-hour round trip hike of Tiger's Nest Monastery, a very famous and historic monastery of Bhutan starts early in the morning after the breakfast at Hotel. It is believed that in this place the great master Padmasambhava (2nd Buddha) flew in the back of the tigress to the site where the monastery now stands. This hike offers you a magnificent view of Paro Valley and many more. You will enjoy a Bhutanese local lunch while coming halfway down from the Tiger's Nest.

Rinpung Dzong: After the hiking you will visit Paro Dzong, a 17th-century fortress also known as Ringpung Dzong.It is one of the finest examples of Bhutanese architects attracting people from all over the globe.

National Museum: This museum situated in the Ta Dzong (a former watchtower) offers you deep information about Bhutan’s history, culture, and natural environment. Exhibits include Bhutan's ancient weapons, thangkas, and unique artifacts.

Visit Farmhouse: Later you will visit the local farmhouse to experience Bhutan's rural life, and homemade food taste and relax.

Overnight: Spend overnight in Paro.

    Trip Information – Best to know for Visitors

    • Visa Requirements: All tourists require a pre-arranged visa. Your tour operator will handle the process, but ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
    • Best Time to Visit: Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) offer the best weather and clear mountain views.
    • Cultural Sensitivity: Dress modestly when visiting temples and dzongs. Cover your shoulders and knees, and remove shoes before entering religious sites.
    • Health & Fitness: The Tiger’s Nest hike requires moderate to high fitness. Prepare yourself by during some cardiovascular exercises before the trip.
    • Currency: The Bhutanese Ngultrum (BTN) is pegged to the Indian Rupee (INR) which is also widely accepted. Credit cards are limited to larger establishments.
    • Accommodation & food: in this package cost you will be provided a twin room, where a single room supplement also can be requested with additional fee. In the peak season there might be a shortage of room with thin the short period of time so that it is better to book your trip few earlier. Talking about the food, you will get full board meal plan, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Where rice is the main body of Bhutanese meals, which come with other local dishes including meat and vegetables.
