Ram from Dream Tibet worked hard to make the trip I was booked on happen even though only two of us went in recent. The roads put of Kathmandu are rough but we made the border in good time despite numerous police and army checks including bag checks. The Chinese roads through Tibet were good and smooth. Hotels reasonable, though sometimes cold. Tingri was a wonderful, if chilly, experience. Beware the open air village toilet you will have to use! Our guide Yang Lee and driver Pan Dee(? Not sure of spellings) were both lovely. Yang Kee was very knowledgeable on the Buddhist stuff including all our visits. I did an extra trip to the nunnery in Lhasa... a very different experience, we were offered milk tea and a warm , smiley welcome not apparent in the monasteries. A lot of driving but fantastic landscapes and a good view of distant Everest on Christmas Eve. With visa and flight not cheap but good value for money I thought.

Hi Ram, We had a great time in Tibet. The guide and driver have done an excellent job so far and the hotel is good. The yak butter tea wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I still prefer Nepali tea-Ha!
