Kailash Kora is considered the most important part of the Yad Yatra, in which pilgrims travel on foot for 3 days. This circumambulation starts from a place called Darchen in Tibet and ends at the same place, which is about 53 kilometers away.

Outer Kora

The circumambulation of the outer part of Kailash is a common and widely done circumambulation during the Kailash Parbat tour, in which the pilgrims cover a distance of 52 kilometers on foot in 3 days. Whether it is a religious pilgrimage or a normal visit, it is considered special for the pilgrims to perform this 3-day circumambulation. According to religion, this circumambulation washes away all the sins committed by the pilgrim in his life and it is believed that he experiences eternal peace.
